People always ask me what is a diaper cake, what flavors do they come in or can they eat it. Most people are unfamiliar with the concept of diaper cakes, they have no idea of what I am talking about when I say I make diaper cakes as gifts for the mommy to be, daddy to be or first birthdays.
Once I explain what they consist of people are shocked by the idea that someone would make a cake in the shape of a diaper. Diaper cakes come in all different sizes, shapes, lots of color and surprises for the new parents and baby.
Giving a diaper cake as a gift to a new mom or dad is doing a few things, showing how much you love them, giving them a gift that will surely be used and seeing the excitement on their face when they see it for the first time.
So the next time you are invited to a baby shower, a welcome home or a first birthday party for the little one consider giving a diaper cake because a gift of love is a gift worth giving.
